Nearly two weeks into the onset of 2024, we are greeted with a starlit sky against a velvet black night at the budding of a new moon in Capricorn. Spiritually and energetically, new moons are a time of sowing seeds of intention—literally laying the groundwork for the harvest we aspire to reap in the months to come.

Having released all that no longer serves two weeks earlier at the full moon in Cancer, and having taken time to draw inward at the turning of the moon cycle in Cancer over the dark days of winter, at the new moon dark becomes a fecund canvas of possibility to (re)imagine all that you aspire to create in the coming seasons of 2024.

Capricorn, an Earth sign, supports this energy with a “get shit done” attitude: the sea goat invites you to believe in your vision, lay out your map, and fearlessly embark upon the dream you dare to make a reality.
